Description
This nickel-plated brass cake server was exclusively made for DAI in India. Inspiration object: LNS 5027 J a miniature gold ladle, with hemispherical bowl, and elongated flat handle fitted on the front with swaged strip and curled back on the end which terminates with stacked shot. The handle is fitted with two suspension loops on the upper end and features a schematic inscription along its back. The object dates back to perhaps 1st century — 3rd century CE (0 – 299)
