Description
Our Calligraphy hand-worked nickel-plated brass box was made exclusively for DAI in India. The design is etched and painted enamel. Inspirational object: LNS 331 C is an earthenware bowl from Iran (possibly Nishapur); 10th century CE. It is an unusual treatment of design wherein what seems to be words are actually elements, individual letters and decorative devices complied in a repeating sequence.
