Description
Our hand-tooled Generosity box is made of wood base with a nickel-plated brass top. Made exclusively for DAI in India, it is adorned with etched elements that are enamel painted with the Arabic inscription: Al jud min akhlaq ahl al janna wa al salamah barakah- Generosity is a quality of the people of Paradise, and good health is a blessing. Inspiration object: LNS 1093 C, an earthenware bowl with a highly elaborate inscription in Kufic script from the 10th or early 11th century, Eastern Iranian world.
