The Octagon is fundamentally important element of Islamic art design. Our Octagon candle holder was exclusively hand tooled of polished brass and is also a box! Inspirational object: LNS 114 M is a bronze candle holder inlaid with copper and silver, decorated on each of its eight faces with a crescentic medallion of vegetal arabesques, and bordered by epigraphic bands in nashki script invoking good wishes on the owner. It is from the late 12th century, East Iranian world.
