Description
This box is made in india exclusively for DAI. It consists of a hand tooled, etched and paint enameled lid atop a rosewood base. The design is inspired by LNS 282 S, a marble jali screen carved in two planes wherein the background plane consists of rows of lozenges, and the foreground of an eight-pointed star and swastika meander.India, probably 14th century AH/20th century CE.
