These exclusively made sterling silver, gold-plated earrings were inspired by the Kuwaiti ‘Baisa’ coin. It is the first coinage of The State of Kuwait in 1304 Hijri/ 1886 AD during the rule of Sheikh Abdallah al-Sabah and the first coins to be issued by an Arab country claiming independence from the Ottoman Empire.
