Description
Our exclusive Geometric tabletop frame is made of etched nickel-plated brass with a solid wood back. Made exclusively for DAI in India it was inspired by an infinite-repetition geometric star pattern consisting of a square plan of repetition, eight-pointed stars and other polygons. Inspirational object: LNS 193 W is one part of a wooden door panel laid out in strapwork following the structural lines of an infinite-repetition geometric star pattern; all compartments are carved with palmette and half-palmette designs. It is mitered, mortised, tenoned, rabbeted and carved with iron fittings, from 8th century AH / 14th century CE Spain.
