Our poster represents three of the design fundamentals of Islamic aesthetic theory. Calligraphy is considered the highest branch of art, combined here with geometric and vegetal. Inspirational object: LNS 154 C a-i is a ceramic panel of 9-tiles, composite body with opaque glaze, underglaze slip and stain painted. 239 cm long, it is from the second half of the 16th century, Iznik, Turkey.
