Graduated multi-color faceted Amber Beads with amber barrel (screw) clasp (55.5cm length).

Amber is fossilized tree resin, appreciated for its color and natural beauty since Neolithic times. Baltic Amber is said to be the most well preserved, sometimes including fossil insects. Amber can be transparent, but more commonly opaque. Colors normally range from orange, yellow, brown or red but also blue & green. It is said to possess natural pain relieving abilities, having been used as a healing agent in folk medicine.
