The opening of Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah at Kuwait National Museum 1983. The great wood door was made from polished timbre that was mitered, rabbeted, mortised and tenoned. The two sides were intricately painted & carved with inscriptions from the Qur’an. Morocco Fez, 14th century CE. It was burned during the destruction of the museum 1990. LNS 52 W ab
