Our hand-tooled Generosity box is nickel-plated brass, made in India exclusively for DAI. It is adorned with etched elements that are enamel painted with the Arabic inscription: Generosity is a quality of the people of Paradise, and good health is a blessing. Inspirational object: LNS 105 C from The al-Sabah Collection is an earthenware bowl with the above inscription around the wall. From Iran (probably Nishapur); 10th century.
