Islamic Cuff Bracelet

Description

This cuff bracelet is inspired by a pair of gold bracelets from 11th century CE. Made exclusively for DAI, it is 24 Kt gold plating on pewter.

Inspiration object: LNS 7J is a pair of bracelets, fabricated from a thin sheet of gold. They are hinged midpoint with a ball and socket joint. The cylindrical shanks are decorated with low relief bands containing birds or kufic inscriptions. Possibly Syria, 11th century CE.
