Description

This vintage Kuwait Museum of Islamic Art tote depicts the historic American Mission Hospital (AMH) iconic architecture. Originally built in 1914 under the auspices of Sheikh Mubarak, it expanded over the next 40+ years. Characterized by the extensive use of veranda for ventilation, aesthetics and socialization, the hospitals were designed to replicate the fabric of family life in Kuwait.
