Pendant Roundel Gold Plated

Description

Our roundel pendant was inspired by an intricate ‘watered’ steel roundel with the Arabic inspiration: al’Allahi fi kul il omuri tawakuli (Rely on God in all matters). Made exclusively for DAI of pewter, it is gold plated. Inspirational object: LNS 137 M is a decorative steel roundel inlaid with gold, the central circle with an elaborate calligraphic device. From the Iranian world, 17th – 18th century, the Jawhar (watered) steel is pierced, engraved and inlaid.
