Parrot Brooch

Description

This parrot brooch is inspired by a beautiful bird image in a marble panel in 11th – 12th century CE. Made exclusively for DAI, it is 24 Kt gold plating on pewter.

Inspiration object: LNS70 S, a marble panel in the manner of the Taj Mahal, engraved and inlaid with coloured precious and semi-precious stones, which depicts a variety of scrolls, flowers, birds and foliage. India 11th – 12th century CE.
